Festival

The 8th edition of the FAD – Digital Art Festival is an important agenda that will hold the 1st South American Forum on Technological Art, in Belo Horizonte, which also has an exhibition.

We propose to create, reconnect, redo new arrangements for a more active network focusing on the technological arts of the Southern Cone (South America). Strategically, the project seeks to cross cities, producing territories and transitory places between audiences and agents active in Brazil and our neighbors in South America.

Audiovisual Presentations, Live Acts, Djs, Vjs, Audiovisual Performances, Avant-Garde Concerts, Live Cinema, Expanded Audiovisual, Mapped Video Dance, Live Act and mixed realities. The 1st South American Meeting of Performances in Technological Art features artists from Brazil and other countries in South America. See dates and locations.

EXHIBITION

Visual Arts, Electronic Art, Computational Art, Video Art, Generative Art, Sound Art, Bio Art, Software Art are some of the languages that characterize the FAD exhibition. In 2020, the festival will exhibit some representative works by artists and creatives from the Southern Cone countries, in addition to Brazilians.

SYMPOSIUM

Thought and reflection inherent to society through an international agenda with names of importance and relevance across diverse converging fields such as arts, philosophy, digital humanities, information science, computer science, biological sciences, economics, engineering, among others. The FAD Symposium is not only aimed at academics, but opens up in a more dynamic process of exchanges and knowledge.

WORKSHOPS

Establish theory and practice under the same axis of knowledge with foreign and Brazilian experts. FAD workshops and training activities have become a tradition. The production of information and knowledge in various scientific fields proposed by artists, scientists and other proposers and creators. FAD’s educational program is a sincere gesture of exchange.
