The Digital Art Festival (FAD) is a project about the inventive exploration of new technologies in the field of art, science and communication. One of the axes of the project is the exhibition of installations of diverse performances and presentations privileging art through digital technologies (produced by machines, software and programming).

The formation of young creators and the public is another objective of the FAD, with the mediation work, workshops of the educational program in the exhibitions, in addition to lectures given by artists, academic market professionals and others involved in the fields of science and technology, with regional names , nationals and internationals.

Since 2007, the Digital Art Festival has spread the themes of Art through New Technologies in four pillars of action in Belo Horizonte such as workshops, lectures, presentations and art exhibitions. In 2018, FAD idealized and promoted the 1st Digital Art Biennial in Rio de Janeiro / Brazil.

In this period of the last 12 years, there were around 700 thousand people, and exchange with many professionals around the world, publications, research and national awards.
