The biennial of digital art was conceived in 2015 with the aim of celebrating in 2018 the 10 years of performance of FAD – Festival de Arte Digital, one of the pioneering festivals on art and technology in Brazil.
In addition to the celebration, the digital art biennial emerges as a project with an international agenda in Brazil, seeking to verticalize the reflections for art in technological means and their derivations.
The biennial that included digital art exhibitions, artistic presentations in audiovisual performances, workshops and international symposia took place from February to April 2018 in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte.
